Running 3 Monitors

What is the best way to run 3 monitors off the Radeon 7950? I have 1 HDMI, 2 DVI, and 1 display port I believe.

2 DVI + Active DP to DVI adapter. You may need a mini-DP to DVI depending on your card.

Is it not possible to run one monitor from HDMI, and the next 2 from DVI?

You need an active DP for every display past the first 2.

I may sound like a total noob, but I don't understand what that means. Sorry this is my first time to ever run more than one monitor. I think I may have an HDMI to DVI cord as well. Like I said not sure what you meant by your last response. I really appreciate the help.

Eyefinity requires you to use display ports for all monitors after the first two. Pick the right adapter and you should be golden

When using 3 monitors on an AMD card atleast 1 has to be attached to the displayport.
