I recently purchased a building about 1000Ft from our business but cant get a wired internet connection there. ISP refuses to touch it for some reason. could i run an ethernet cord from a modem to a coax adapter and run the coax the rest of the way? have tried directional antennas but no luck due to the tree density. I only get 1.5 Mbps as well. would this be an issue?

MoCA has a 100M cable length limit similar to ethernet.
You have a couple choices. Fiber. Single mode fiber can go for miles. Multimode fiber can do 2KM at 100Mbit.
Point to point proprietary protocol on ethernet or coax. Something like this -- https://ethernetextender.com/outdoor-coax-ethernet-extenders/

Those are proprietary protocols running on commodity wiring infrastructure.

Solution
If you have heavy trees and 1000ft distance running any type of cable is going to be a pain. If you are going to go to all the trouble to run a cable you might as well run single mode fiber and have the best possible option. The cable itself is likely not even going to be the most costly part depending on if can even use equipment to bury it or you have to dig it all by hand.
