Hello.
In a few days im about to order my last parts for my next build (i5 7600k) (Z270 A-PRO) and a NZXT S340 case.
The S340 case is literally out of stock in every store in my country (Denmark) and it would take about 2-3 days LONGER to import it to my country and to my address.
My question is should i run the pc without a case for 2-3 days on a cardboard box or is it just not worth it and i should wait because im really hyped for this build and i really can't wait.
(+ please don't recommend me ryzen builds instead of the 7600k as i am sure it is what i want and i won't change my decision.)
I will be very careful but the most think im scared about is the static, a simple zap and i could kill the board :/
Thanks.

yes you can run it on the cardboardbox, of course but is more hassle than anything, for testing it is great but there will not be any airflow over the mainboard so is in long term a bad idea, any testbench for pcs will have a fan blowing air over the minboard in the vrm area near the cpu, if you can do that without messing the entire pc up, half week is not much, but if you are asking this question something tells me that you are not experienced in doing this trick so i would just wait, wait for the case and enjoy a entire pc, not just parts that might overheat just for not waiting
