Running a Seiki 4K TV/monitor at 120hz with a 4GB GTX 680?

Is it possible to run a Seiki 4K TV using a 4GB GTX 680 at 120hz? I have read that this monitor supports HDMI 1.4, which means it can only do 4K at 30hz. I think that GTX 680s have one DisplayPort, one HDMI, one single link DVI, and one dual link DVI (Emphasis on 'I think'). What wires will I need to run it on 4K resolution while maintaining the 120hz? Thanks in advance for any help!

it cannot run 4k resolution any higher than 30hz on the seiki. you could try to force 4k resolution with a higher refresh rate in the nvidia control panel but its doubtful you would get any appreciable difference if it would work at all. the seiki can do 120hz with a 1080p input resolution.

I don't think you can.

The TV attached to a PC looks wonderful.
But, at 4k resolution, you are limited to 30hz. Not enough for gaming.
You can go to 60hz(and possibly 120hz) if you set the resolution to 1080P.
The GTX680 is not the issue.
It can run a 4k monitor like the expensive ASUS 39" @60hz using dual hdmioutputs.
I am awaiting a 4k unit in the 45-50" size that can do 60hz.

I use a Seiki 50 inch 4K and it wont do 4k at 60Hz. The newer TV's coming out in April are implementing HDMI 2.0 which is needed for 4k@60HZ. WAIT for that feature. 30HZ isn't too great. Having said that 4K is simply AWESOME! CS go or Skyrim will take your breath away. Also, I think any thing under 40 inch's in a 4K is too small to read properly. The Seiki price of 699.00 right now for 4k set is a steal though. Games ARE playable at 30HZ if you cant wait. In a month I would think all 4k sets released will be HDMI 2.0

HDMI 1.4 doesn't support 120hz anyways. The closest it gets is HD3D at 60hz by sending two images at a time, one for the right and one for the left. In 2D, it cannot support 120hz. Even that is limited to 720p.

using a custom .inf my dual 7850 setup will run the 39" seiki at 1080p 120hz using the included HDMI cable, however my other PC using the same .inf file with a single gtx 670 won't run over 60hz on HDMI. Both run 30hz 4k resolution with no modification to the .inf file. I have Windows 8.1 on each system. I've ordered an active display port to HDMI adapter in hopes that I can get the NVidia to run 120hz at 1080p.
