Question Running game emulators with ryzen 7 4800h?

hello
i was wondering if the ryzen 7 4800h any good for emulators such as rpcs3 because i want to buy a laptop with a strong CPU only for emulation i found two the legion 5 and the dell g5se with the 4800h the tuf just gets to hot and another thing does the gpu matter for emulation too??

yes it will be good enough to run those. Probably wont run ps4 emulators though but I'm just guessing right now I cannot give you the right answer because the cpu isn't even out yet.
