I run into a strange issue with my PC when I enable XMP.
Computer won't boot the first time I press the button. Fans spin, CPU LED on motherboard stays on and no boot. If I press the reset button on the case while my PC is in this state it boots normally and have no problems afterwards. After a shutdown however the problem comes back.
Experimenting a bit I found out that if I run my memory with XMP and at lower frequency (3000Mhz) or if I only use two sticks at the advertised frequency (3600Mhz) the issue is resolved.
The memory I'm talking about is the Kingston Fury Renegade KF436C16RBK4/32 kit of four.
My other computer specs are:
Now, I've read about problems that may arise when four sticks of RAM with XMP and Ryzen that require some tinkering with timings but I don't know how to do that.
Should I just return the 4x8GB sticks and get 2x16GB ?
