Question Running Minecraft on good PC with low fps

Hello, i am Lucas and i need help with my new notebook i jíst installed internet browser and cleaner plus Minecraft but Minecraft have max 24 and i have it set on 100 fps bcz internet says that i can run Minecraft. Idk why but on my older And worse PC it wont even lag. Thanks fór help

What laptop is it and what is the refresh rate of the screen even if the FPS of the hardware can reach 100 it will lock it to the refresh rate of the monitor to prevent tearing
