Running pc speakers and gaming headset at the same time in the same port?

I have computer speakers and headset that both plug into the green port in back of pc. Can I split them and have both running? My speakers can be turned on or off and so can headset just tired of getting behind the pc to listen to speakers.

You can buy either a splitter or an extender, the splitter will as the name suggests split it into a dual port, do you can run both, and they will each run fine.

Or you can buy an extender which is basically a cord you plug in at the back and it will be around 1m up to 10m in length and you can then run the cable to the front of your pc and either plug a splitter in there on just run one at a time like your doing now just without having to reach the back of your computer
