Running windows 10 and hard drive crashed - How to restore windows 10

My hard drive crashed on my Windows 10 machine. The only recovery media I have is a Windows 7 usb recovery. How can I get back to Windows 10 without paying for it??

Reinstall it. Since you did not change any hardware component and using same computer you won't have to pay when installing windows

You can always create Windows 10 media on another machine. I'd be more concerned that you don't have any backup solution. You might want to grab a disk imager (Macrium Reflect, Acronis TI, Drive Cloner Rx) or a snapshot tool (Comodo Time Machine or RollBack Rx).

Thanks everyone, I use backblaze as a backup for all of my files, I believe I just need to be able to boot into an operating system and then I can restore my files. Fortunately, I have never needed to actually use backblaze for restoration before now, so we will see how it goes. Thanks again for everyone's input! Once I get back to Windows 10 I will create a new restore usb drive.
