Running Windows 8. Cannot expand installation display & no scroll bar. Cannot select continue, next or cancel

I recently purchased a new computer running Windows 8. However, I can't install software because the installation display windows don't expand enough for me to select continue or cancel and there isn't any scroll bars attached to the display. I've tried adjusting the resolution and MS Updates. I'm at a loss as to what to do.

Perhaps try re-installing Display Driver?
What system is it?
