I live in rural Alabama and as you can imagine, the internet situation is unbearable. Currently I have verizon. The give me 15gb of 4g on my jetpack, then throttle it down to 3g after that. The 3g is almost unusable. Does anyone have any suggestion? I'm sure someone has been in the same boat as me and found a way out. DLS or wired is out of the question and satellite options are just as bad as verizon. Any help is MUCH appreciated

i lived in rural bama for a while and we had dsl from at&t. would be better than cell service though still expensive and slow. check and see if you have such an option. trying to use cell service for everything is crazy even in a city.

if you truly can't even get dsl, then you may have no choice but do with what you have. get a laptop and head to free wifi to do any major downloading. things like netflix and such can be downloaded for offline viewing. can get it from free wifi, then head home to watch it.
