You probably should double check information you post. T-Platfroms had only 1% of Baikal shares, which set to be auctioned off. By the way, Baikal CEO is glad that everyone thinks that Baikal has gone bankrupt (check Baikal Electronics tg chat, translator required)

why? what is the angle? was it vaporware?

Seems like this T-Systems pocketed the money that should have gone into delivering the Baikal cpus in PCs. so I can understand why the Baikal ceo would be happy about this T-Systems going under. this failure to deliver their cpus by the parent company even though they were made and already sold sounds like a strategy from intel/amd to protect their business in russia and push baikal out. yeah sanctions but lets be honest those intel/amd parts will still find their way there like they do in China.

Honestly, they should find another investor and pivot to RISCV. bet you this entire thing is because of corruption. Honestly we need other countries besides the US and China to step up their CPU game and offer competition to drive down prices. Where are you India? Where are you Africa? Where are you Middle East? Make some CPUs.
