Rust Terrible FPS

Im trying to run rust but I cant get more than 40 FPS on the lowest resolution, lowest settings and lowest graphics. I have a GTX 1050 2GB and a Intel Core i7-6700K 4GHZ. I got on the game and asked some people why this is but they have no idea and some say I have a better pc than them and theyre getting 100 FPS. I can run Overwatch and CSGO at 300 FPS no problem but not Rust. Please help. (P.S. my driver is fully updated)
