So I can get them both for 100 pounds:
ASUS GTX 950 STRIX OC Edition DVI 2 2 GB
or
Gigabyte rx 460 4gb

which would be the better buy for e-sports games 1080p with a i5-6402p?

They are quite closely matched. I would recommend the RX 460 just for the 4GB memory.

how much more would an rx 470 or gtx 1050 ti be for you?

the 1050ti can be found at aprox 140 (the lowest being a palit StormX at 136) and the rx 470 can't be found under 175 pounds
