Rx 460 does not perform as in reviews

I upgraded from gt 730 to rx 460 and it works poorly than my previous gpu
I saw a benchmark with cs go and he got 100 fps with settings maxed out and i don't even get 30 fps on LOW
I have an intel core i5 4440 8 gb of ram an asus strix rx 460 4gb and asrock h81m dgs r2.0 motherboard
Is my gpu or any other components bottleneck ? If not then wich is the problem ?

Did you remove all the previous nvidia drivers & software properly?
You should be getting close to twice the performance of your old GPU

And how I do that. If i reinstall my Os they are removed or I need to remove them by myself ?

Reinstalling os word remove them but that would be drastic.

Goto add remove programs in windows. Uninstall anything with nvidia in from the list.

Reboot.

Can you double check you have plugged the monitor into the RX460, not the motherboard?

Yes it is plugged in rx 460

do you monitor cpu temps?


sounds like you might have disturbed the cpu cooler and your cpu is thermal throttling
