Question Rx 460 performance issues at 1080p

So I have an MSi rx 460 2gb and when I’m trying to play games at 1080p (even older games where it shouldn’t be an issue) the FPS is horrible even at low settings. But, if I drop to 1600x900 then it runs fine. When I put fraps or msi after burner on at 1080p it shows I’m at or over 60 FPS but the game itself just feels horrible. Not sure if it’s a hardware or driver issue.

What's the GPU frequency? Does is stay consistent? What are GPU temps?
What GPU driver version are you using?
What RAM do you have? If 2 sticks, is it in the correct mobo slots to run in dual channel mode?

ryzen 2600
Corsair 16gb (2x8) 3200hz

killing floor 2
Crash bandicoot insane trilogy
bioshock infinite
Spec ops the line
Resident evil 1,4 and 5

I just built this pc over thanksgiving and I was having the same issue on my fx 6300 build. I’m not at my pc right now so I’d have to see the frequency but temps are pretty average according to after burner.

Yeah I got it through the media creation tool.
