I currently have an AMD Radeon HD 8670D and it has low power or something and it's slow for my games, i was looking into the rx460 because i'm on a really tight budget and it seems good enough. I only really play games like gmod, Overwatch, & Cs go so if it can handle those at a good frame rate i'd be v happy. my other specs that ik how to look up are
Model: ASUS Desktop PC M32BF_K30BF Series
Processor: AMD A10-6700 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 3.70 GHz
8 GB RAM

a gtx 1050 should be around the same price and is better

make sure your power supply is good enough to power it

and your case is big enough to fit it

For those games, save some money and just get the 2gb 460, the 1050 is 'better' but it won't make a difference. Get a model that doesn't require a 6 pin connector. You could probably get an RX 550 considering the games you want to play on it, but that only makes sense if you want a new card, not used, and you want to save every penny possible.

also, i found something on this site contradicting what you guys were saying before. I'm not sure what to go off of, but i'm hoping it works out for me
"That has nothing to do with it. Almost all CPU's these days have integrated graphics, which makes no difference at all. The integrated graphics are generally weak and intended for basic computing. When you install a GPU card, the integrated graphics will be disabled and the system will run all it's graphics tasks on the installed GPU and not the CPU's integrated graphics. You do NOT need to replace the cpu in order to upgrade your graphics and whoever told you that clearly does not understand how modern hardware functions at all.

If you install a GPU card in the slot as we discussed, the cpu will then become ONLY a CPU, and will no longer be in charge of the graphics."

i didn't check the PSU # yet but i found that the Gtx750ti is very low wattage & affordable, is this good for my needs? if it is i'll just buy this one & save myself some hassle

Rx 460, 750ti, 1050,1050ti all below 75w & bus powered mate.

If you can run 1 you can run all of them.

The 750ti is the weakest of the lot performance wise , you should check the PSU anyway mate to be safe - its 2 screw's & will take you less than a minute

i cannot make a decision lol, 1050 looks good too
when i check the PSU Model number, the wattage is indicated by the numbers in it right? like ABF350WF or something
