rx 470 on Pcie Gen2 (2x8)

hi my current pc is i5 2500k and msi z68ma-g45
wich only have pcie Gen2 (2x8) slot
will it work on rx470?does it have significant diferent with Gen2 x16 slot?

It will work, it does slow the card down slightly (a few %) not enough for you to really notice except in benchmarks.
