My question is very simple as mentioned in the title, is the reference RX 470 design will be worth it to buy? I am concerned about the thermals of the stock reference cooling, Will it last long for continuous 5+ years of gaming? I do not plan on upgrading anywhere near 5 years, since i always have financial issue lol. MY MAIN question is: IS THE REFERENCE CARD WILL BE A SOLID CARD? IN TERMS OF THERMALS AND RELIABILITY? i don't really wanna spend my preciously gathered money on a low end cheap stock reference card. So please can anyone shed some light on this? If there is a risk in reference card i will wait a few days more, BUT if the reference card is a good choice i will be the first one to order it!
Some Other Notes: Because i dont really want to wait more for the custom design RX 470 to hit the markets in the late August! I have my mind settled up on the RX 470. Already got 200$ saved in backup as i saw that it will be probably priced from 150$-200$. I dont really want to wait anymore since i am still rocking a XFX 6790 1GB card LOL. Finally have time and money to replace the GPU with a new one. Have a decent 525w PSU as well so no worries on PSU. Have an i7 3770 paired with 8gb of ddr3 ram. Thanks in advance!
