I known, this question has ben posted a thousand of times
but just listen ok, i need help with just one las thing (or a couple).

First.

Things i care :

  • 1080p at 60FPS
    Overclocking
    3D Rendering
Things i am intersted (buy i don't have money for 🙁) :

  • VR
    Ultra Widescreen
Projectors ( you know for movies and else)
Things that i dont care :

  • 4K
    60 FPS or More Gaming
    Ultra-Hyper-Super-Duper HD Textures
My Rig:

  • FX 6300 3.3 GHZ
    HD 7700 1GB OC-ModdedBios
    8 GB 2400 Mhz
128 GB Samsung 240 (as Main)
    Windows 7 x64
Coler Master Silent Pro 800 Watts

Second

Well to the point, i want to pick a new graphic card, i already make
tons of investigation but i still need something else, a third person opinion.

Ss you can see my current card its OK but is starting to show its age,
i moded the bios to the limit and its not stable anymore, aleast not for 3D Rendering,
it works ok on prolonged gaming sesions, just not at 60/1080p.

The cards i was thinking on were:

    RX480 a.k.a "The Budget King"

    RX 470 a.k.a. "The Underdog"

GTX 1060 a.k.a. "The Pretty Boy"

As you can see my personal pick is the 480, but there is a big problem here
this card in particular the 8GB edition to be especific is very espensive, at least in my country
(you know down the south of the USA), so i rather don'spen that much money on a thing.

However i realiza that on the long run the 480 my be better, it would last longer, support a
more agressive overclock, more memory for VR or UHD, etc.. So that complicate my decision
i wanna known if the extra couple of dollar worth the card.

Also 3d rendering i love to cut rendering times, and as far as i know Nvidia does much better
on Blender than AMD, so thats another point to consider.

Gaming

As for gaming i don't care for most current titles, and the titles i care run pretty decent
on my current rig, Battlefield 1, GTA V etc...

My main concern would be with modding games like Skyrim, Fallout and else,
my current card runs out of juice in less than 5 mods:pfff:.

Finally.

Well thats all i can say, bu to put it a simple sentence:

wich of the cards is best for me (considering alll of the above)?

Anyway, thank you for reading
this awfully lenghty post
and good bye.

Solution
Nope, not the cheapest, it costs $184.99 after rebate and doesn't cool that well, the MSI Gaming X costs $179.99 after rebate and cools significantly better, and runs quieter + faster.

Yeah i don't have the money to change everyting in just one go, so i rather change the GPU
and then later the CPU, Motherboar and Memory.

Looks like the 480 is the best choice, is there any vendor that youwould recomend, other than MSI,
like ASUS.

And is the 480 4GB model even worth the extra dollar or is better to go for a 470 with 4GB.

it is pretty much worth it, get the sapphire nitro, it is the cheapest rx 480 out there.

here in our country it is the cheapest variant costing only 11.5k php, while other variants cost as much as 13k php. the rx 470 here is priced at 10.5k just add 1k php and you'll have yourself a 480. no sense buying the 470 then ahha
