rx-470 upgrade from a r9-270

Hello i searched thru some forums, and cant find a answer....but was wondering is a RX-470 would be a better up grade then my 2 gig R9-270 ..since i am having trouble getting a RX-480 always out of stock the benchmarks between the 2 (470-480) are so close but was wanting to up grade from my R9-270 money is a factor so no 1060 here tks in advance for your help......

The RX 470 would be a great upgrade from the R9 270. Game Debate shows it about 40% faster!
