My system specs are-:
I5 4590
16gb 1866 DDR 3 memory
Z87x gigabyte motherboard
Corsair rm850i PSU
1440p monitor.

I currently own a GTX 1060 6gb zotac amp edition.

As this card doesn't sli I was thinking of selling it for a sapphire nitro+ rx480 8gb mainly to crossfire in future.

After seeing benchmark it seems pretty good but the real issue is the stutter. I first had a GTX 970 but didn't sli that card as it had only 3.5gb vram and a post on reddit told that stutter is too much and game is not playable despite good average fps.

Anyone who has a Rx 480 8gb crossfire can tell me how is the stutter for 1440p gaming and are games supported. Because some people says many games don't get support for crossfire. And is it worth the hassle to sell gtx 1060 6g for Rx 480 8gb.

Solution
No, Rx 480 crossfire is not worth it since you have a GTX 1060 right now. A better upgrade would be selling the card and going with a GTX 1070, or if you're not doing this upgrade very soon maybe one of AMD's upcoming Vega cards.

I'm currently running crossfire 480. I love it. Was coming off 780 sli. I don't have any problems with microstutter. Playing Skyrim, RE 7, Mafia 3 currently. Was able to find 2 480s for $150 a piece so I'm very happy with the price for performance.
