RX 480 for R9 390

i have a R9 390 at home for my pc, its an asus strix model. I;m curious if swapping to an Asus strix rx480 is a good idea or should i just wait for vega to come out?

wait for vega. not the rx580 thats coming out by this month end.

RX480 is more efficient, but offers about the same speed.

Not recommended, as they are almost same performance with 390 a little better.

Wait for VEGA or go with GTX1070 or higher.

I agree with waiting for Vega since the RX 480 is probably going a fraction backwards performance wise (although more efficient). If you are desperate for an upgrade now i would go no lower than a GTX 1070, but even then a GTX 1080 is probably the best option if you want a real big jump in Performance.
