Hello everyone! This is my first thread here. Sorry my bad English and anything else.

I bought a XFX RX 480 last week to substitute my old HD 7850 and I'm in trouble with GPU scaling.

I installed the VGA on the motherboard, cleared the CMOS and reinstalled Crimson. The program loaded the default settings and everything seemed fine. I had to adjust the GPU scaling because the display was bigger than the monitor. I adjusted by 6%.

When I did it, the Windows Explorer became slower. And not just Explore, all the transitions effects of the programs became slower. But that's ok when the scale is 0%. It was like "the Windows FPS has drop".

So I tested the games in scale by 6%. GTA V and BF4 were good, no problems to describe. But I had some problems with the FIFA 17 demo. I always lock the FPS by 60, but, for some reason, the game run locked by 30 FPS and the loadings became slower. When I set no FPS limit, the game run OK, although the slower loadings

This is my PC:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H
Processor: i3-3220
RAM: Kingston 8Gb DDR3 1600Mhz
Power Supply: Corsair CX-430W
HD: Seagate Barracuda 1Tb 7200rpm

Thank you.

I have the same problem as you, i always get fps locked with vsync on on my HDTV. It goes away with hdmi scaling off, but same as you, my screen is bigger than the desktop so it's really annoying. I hope we can get a fix on this
