Rx 480 or wait for vega

How much of a diff will vega bring between between the 400 and 500 series sould i wait to buy vega and how much of a price decrease will we see if any in the 400 series would that make it a better buy

Vega is the high end of next gen it shouldn't make much difference with RX 400 prices. However, RX 500 (the Polaris refresh) is coming soon and that would no doubt drop the price of the RX 480 and the rest or you can just grab a new RX 580 instead which seems to be slightly better but nothing major. Just wait and see how the prices go but i would strongly consider waiting to see how long RX 500 series is, i think it's coming only in month or so? Hope this helps

^ perhaps that isn't constructive. 500 series is a rebrand with power optimizations and clock speed boosts.

Yes thats what ive heard to if thats all it is you could probably pick a 480 up for cheaper and overclock it for same proformance
