rx 480 vs gtx 1060 who wins now?

found this video on youtube ..how much valid is that..i bought 1060 6gb ..but now i think i took the worst decision ..plz help!!

It isn't worth returning it. But with new drivers, the RX 480 is a tad slower at DX11 and about 5% faster at DX12, for much less money.

as of now rx 480 and gtx 1060 stands toe to toe.The latest Amd driver uplifted rx 480 and according to reviews rx 480 is behind 1060 by 3% in DX11 and 1060 is behind rx 480 by 12% in DX12.During rx 480 launch rx 480 was behind 1060 by 13-15%

Interesting video, kinda shows how AMD's drivers are always a bit unpolished when new, be it a new GPU range or a new game but they get there in the end

They are both very comparable performance-wise, so really don't think it's worth regretting or switching. I still tend to like the AMD offering at this price point though, as the 480 can be paired (Crossfired) in the future if higher resolutions or frame-rate were wanted more affordably than a whole GPU upgrade, whereas the 1060's cannot:

But more importantly they work with FreeSync monitors:

Which is a very affordable way to get adaptive sync in a next monitor upgrade (which are less expensive than the Nvidia counterpart, Gsync):

That and FreeSync is on the road to becoming prolific (compared to Gsync), as many TV manufacturers have even stated that future releases will likely be compatible with this AMD GPU feature.

also in witcher 3 ,the division is nvidia title so how can it outperform 1060 at their ??
