Question Rx 480 worth it 2019

I am building a pc and don’t want to spend to much and I was looking I could get a rx 480 for near half the rx580 is priced, Is a rx 480 worth it in 2019

The rx 480 8gb is still good for 1080p gaming.

For half the price, it's worth it, really depends on what you want that system to run and for how long you want it to be able to handle new games. You get something that is just barely able to run new games now, in a few years you will have a bunch of wasted parts. 480 and 580 are pretty close to each other in speeds, but if you are talking half the price, I am guessing you are talking about a used card, so you are taking the risk of that card being in good shape and no warranty.

Thanks I am building my first pc and my bugget is £600, and by using a rx480 it will allow me to have to 16gb of ram and a good motherboard, but I will probably get a rx 580
