I currently have;
i3-2100 3.1GHz processor,
4 GB RAM (getting 4 GB more),
Gigabyte H61M-S2P-B3 motherboard,
Circle 400W PSU.

I'm planning to get the new AMD Radeon RX 550, but what I'm concerned about is that they say the latest AMD drivers don't support 32-bit OS and I have 32-bit windows 7 installed. Can I run this card on my system? If not then is my system suitable for a 64-bit operating system?

Thanks in advance

you should have a 64-bit OS with 4 gb of ram or more (you say your adding 4 more). 32-bit only sees 3.5 gb of it. you should upgrade just for that reason.

the driver issue is the second reason to upgrade the OS. if they are not supporting the 32-bit Os, then you have no choice if you want to use that card.

that is not true. there was 64-bit OS's long before there were even dual core cpu's. and it is pretty much standard on new builds including dual core pentiums as well as cheaper celeron/atom cpu's

it'll run fine on a dual core and you'll get the full use of your ram with it. if you don't move to 64-bit do not bother with the extra ram since you won't get to use it!!
