Fairly simple question, could an rx 560 4gb run safely with a 320w power supply? I've searched around and nobody has asked this question

Solution
If you have a high quality power supply, should be OK, the card uses about 80 watts at full power. However there are not a lot of high quality power supplies of that wattage, and if you knew enough to pick one out for your system, you should also have known the answer to your question, so it's not likely you have a power supply good enough to run the card without some risk to the system or card.

I would go with what hang-the-9 says.

Just add all your components up. CPU, 100W? + HDD 15W? + Ram 4W? + DVD 30W + Motherboard 80W? + GPU 80W (confirmed at peak performance)

These wattage's are the extreme of what you could have, but the fact you have a 320W power supply is that your components do not run anywhere near these wattage's.

Total extreme wattage, 309W.

My guess is that your system will be around 260W with the GPU.

Check your components TDP and add them up. You can use the HDD, RAM, and DVD wattage that I put down. Just find your motherboard and CPU's TDP and tally everything up.

Good Luck.
