Question RX 570 4gb vs RX 580 8gb

Hello everybody! I am planning to update my gpu and I am between this two options:

RX 570 4gb (US$157)
RX 580 8gb (US$ 284)

I think the prices in my area for a 580 are way too expensive...

Do you think it is worth it to spend the extra US$127 to go for the 580?

I can't decide because I think the difference of prices is really high for the difference of performance. I have seen that the performance of 580 is just about 10%~15% faster, but I don't know if that 4gb extra of VRAM on the 580 will be the difference to make it last more years playing at 1080p on full graphics at 60 fps for future games. I am not used to upgrade so often so I really want to make the right choice.

What do you recomend me to do?

The RX570 4GB is still a good card for 1080P @60-75Hz. The additional ram on the RX580 only really kicks in at higher resolutions.

I don't think it's worth paying that much for a RX 580. The price difference is too big and they are close in performance. I have another suggestion though. Have you considered the new Nvidia GTX 1660 and perhaps the GTX 1660ti. Both are faster than the RX 580 and they come with 6GB VRAM. GTX 1660 models usually start from $210-220. If you have the available budget both are a much better choice than the RX 580.
