Question RX 570 8gb only showing 4gb of dedicated memory

When I booted my PC for the first time since installing this RX 570 8gb, I noticed in some games that it was showing only 4gb of vram available.

At first I was worried that I'd somehow been given the 4gb version but looking into the properties of the card it says that total available memory is 8gb with dedicated memory only at 4gb.

Is this an issue? Do I need to manually alter the allowed dedicated memory? Or am I just a fool and everything is good to go?

Fist of all where do you look your specs. In some programs like speccy it shows the half of the vram i had the same question when i bought my 8gb gtx 1070ti and looked speccy. Please check dxdiag.
