Hello guys! A friend of mine recently bought a new pc with a RX 570 and since the last few days she's been having a couple of problems. After a few minutes of normal usage the monitor freezes and turns to a different colour every time (green, yellow, orange ecc) but the pc keeps running. She has to hard reboot the system every time it occurs. We tried to unistall the drivers and see if the system works fine and it does. I read an article on this forum where they say it's a driver issue, but i'm not quite sure. Should we try to install different drivers untill we hopefully find a fix, or just RMA the video card back (although I'd rather try to fix it first)? We also played different games in the past days and she had no problems whatsoever, it just randomly happens during normal activities.
Edit:
System Specs.
- Intel i5 6400 @ 2.7 GHz
- Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P
- Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 600
- WD Blue 1 TB.
- AMD RX 570.
- Corsair Carbide CC-9011075-WW.
PS. It's not an overheating issue, as it happened a few minutes after booting the system a couple of times. I doubt the PSU is failing, because the PC works just fine with no drivers.
