[SOLVED] RX 570 fan at max speed, with no control. Really loud too ?

My RX 570s fan is running at max speed, and I can’t control it with any program. It’s also really loud. Any fixes or causes for it? Thanks

Have you tried, if available, putting it in another pcie slot? Also have you tried MSI Afterburner, it has a fan control slider.

Tried other slots and still is fast and loud. However, before today it was quiet, was low speed and ram fine. However I still never was able to control it. It’s probably something to do with the actual fan but you’re the expert here.

also I’ve used MSI afterburner loads and the slider doesn’t work. Won’t control it at all

Try uninstalling the gpu drivers with ddu, Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.4.8 (guru3d.com) then install a Whql driver. See if it changes anything.
