hi there guys, i recently noticed a few things with this graphic card and i found it to be odd considering that is suppose to have a tdp of 150w, but according to msi afterburner and gpu z is not that case at all.

the bios version that i have is this, according to gpu z: 0.15.050.002.001.000000
so whats going on here? i thought this card was suppose to draw more power than 90w alone.
is there anything i can do about it? i recently noticed that ive been having crashes on valorant from time to time.
also have to mention this but this card has been RMA before because it died at one point under a thunderstorm but its suppose to be fixed so i dont understand why the limit.

my system specs:
gpu: GV-RX570GAMING-4GD
AMD Radeon RX570/REV1.1 (according to thee gpu box)

power suply xpg pylon 750w bronze

It would depend on which GPU you have. OC'd models will be much closer to 150W. Or higher. I wouldn't think there are any 90W models though. All 570s I see have an 8 pin plug on them. There could be a low power model I haven't seen.

I have a 570 myself. A Sapphire "pulse" model. Running GPUz I get a board limit of 135W. I know it's a 150W max card, but that doesn't mean the limit has to be 150W. I'm not concerned about my 135W answer. It's just a few away and if I OC I'm sure I'll hit 150.

Your 90W is rather low. What are your clock speeds? Temps? Do you have sub normal scores in games?

i noticed that when doing benchmark heaven the wattage usage was at 90w max and 100 to 99 usage almost all the time, while the clock was never reaching 1244 which is the boost.
temp wise is rather cool tbh never hitting 70, 60 if anything.

edit: nvm that according to the gigabyte site the actual boost is higher than 1244 but the 1244 is the "gaming mode" while the oc being "1255"

Must be card dependant. My Sapphire Nitro+ RX 570 8GB says board limit 160 W. That has boost speeds up to 1340mhz. It actually used that much whether regular gaming or running furmark. The specs on the card say 225W TDP.

How much under 1200? 1190 is under 1200, and is 54MHz off 1244. Probably nothing to worry about. 1101 is of course a lot more...

What are your frame rates in games? If nothing is off there I wouldn't worry about it.
It used to be around 1101 actually so what I did was add +25 on the power limit and undervolt the stage 7 to 960mv, now it gets to 1244, why is that though?
