So one day I was playing American Truck Simulator. My GPU had been working fine for the previous months that I have owned it but then I logged on one day, hopped on to ATS, and was running a sloppy 15-20 FPS. I haven't gotten it to run better since. I have done the usual, DDU, checked for BIOS updates, and even tried overclocking on the Adrenelin software. None of that worked so I have come to the great community of Tom's Hardware in search of an answer.

Ryzen 7 1700
ASUS B-450 F Gaming
Radeon RX 570 4GB
G.Skill Trident Z (2x8) 3466
Corsair TX550M 80+ Gold
Windows 10
Samsung Sata SSD 250GB
WD MyPassport 2TB

what are your temps like? replacing your gpu thermal paste might help, but your problem seems a bit too sudden for gradual wear
also your rx 570 seems a bit underpowered for a ryzen 7, so an upgrade may be worth looking into

my temps are about 40-41 when gaming and I dont video edit or anything so I dont know what those temps would be like. I might try replacing the thermal paste but I want to try other things first, and I have absolutely no money so an upgrade is impossible as of now.

edit: temps are about 47 my bad
