RX 570 used works great with intensive games but stutters a lot with easier games

Rainbow 6 Siege and Furmark scores are normal, but then when playing Garry's Mod, Minecraft, or testing using userbenchmark yields horrible results. I don't understand why. I've checked thermals, made sure voltages are okay, dialed back the overclock, and run numerous tests, none of which detect any issues with the card. I noticed that there is a lot of dips in GPU utilization during those easier titles, which raises the question of whether or not the system just does not recognize the card as needing to work any harder than usual.

MSI B450 PRO VDH
1 TB seagate hybrid drive

Hmmm, Windows might be running those games on your IGPU since they are not that demanding. Is your IGPU disabled in BIOS?

iGPU shouldnt be running if video signal is in graphics card, no? Also, radeon wattman

Not necessarily. The IGPU can still be used as an accelerator for programs. So it is beneficial to leave it on in professional workloads even if there is no video signal to it.

You might want to check temps on the CPU and the CPU clocks while under load. It's possible that on games that are less graphically demanding, the CPU ends up working harder and having issues as a result.
