[SOLVED] RX 570 w/ VGA monitor

I'm looking for a converter/adapter for my VGA monitor because I'm looking for a new GPU for my budget computer. I don't have the RX right now, I'm actually thinking on buying one but I know since RX 400 series it get harder to convert the HDMI/DVI to VGA properly. So the questions are:
1- Do I need a converter or an adapter?
2- Is there any mark who can give me a good one?
3- Will this adaptation damage my setup?

I just threw out a box of VGA cables yesterday. Maybe eight or ten. I kept two. "Just in case." Just in case of what? Who the h*ll knows? But the old gear hoarding situation up there was getting way out of hand. So some of it had to go.
