[SOLVED] RX 570 with my power supply?

My power supply is "CoolerMaster Elite 600w Ver.3"

Im planning to buy the "Overclocked Edition MSI Armor Radeon™ RX 570 4GB GDDR5"

is it good enough? how much pin power supply pin does it need? is my psu have the required pin or watts or something?


lastly an outtopic question, once i have the rx 570, does it consume alot of electricity even if my just browsing facebook and playing old games or only when playing at high-end games?

That's a very low-end budget PSU. Not the very best in terms of efficiency/quality.

There are 2 PCI-E 6+2 PIN CONNECTORS for any GPU, as evident from this pic. Though, the specs section says it has only ONE.

Assuming this is the exact GPU model you are planning to buy, it requires a SINGLE 8-PIN connector. Your PSU is having PCI-e connectors, but it would be MUCH better that you upgrade/replace your current PSU.

Assuming this is the exact GPU model you are planning to buy, it requires a SINGLE 8-PIN connector. Your PSU is having PCI-e connectors, but it would be MUCH better that you upgrade/replace your current PSU.

i looked it and it doesnt have a single 8pin

so this doesnt work?

The GPU is rated at 300w combined with decent CPU then your pushing it. 750w or upwards.

btw my processor is i7-3770


base on the other comments. it seems i need to cancel my order of the GPU

you can see how many pins you have on you psu and how many pins the gpu needs in the specs list of your gpu.
