Hey, just got my gigabyte radeon rx 5700 xt gaming oc hdmi 3xdp 8gb today and I've been trying to oc it, which turned out to be quite the simple task? in MSIAB the Max core (2150mhz) and max memory clock (1900) ran stable instantly, and I undervolted to 1.120v and power limit at 35% (35 and 50% give same performance)

Now my question is, why can't I go beyond these clocks, especially since I had to undervolt? I'd love to push this card at least up to 1.2v which is nothing (thats almost what it came at stock)
what is the way to do this?

Maybe you get the golden card. Sometimes they crashes when ram push beyond 1800 or highers. Was told its possible the controller no able to be happy with it and maybe need more juice I dunno. I had 2150mhz 1900 ram but had some locks up in game. Seems run 2150 very happy but still working on test ram speeds. Gains nearly cant tell in games so no hurry.

If you max out and undervolt you do all you can. But maybe you try mpt if go more. For me the gains are small to fps in games so did not want mmess with a voltage higher. From what I see people have gone to 1.3v and 2200mhz + but run that 24/7 I would not. Would say conngrats on get the good card :)

If look at some of new amd optimze games 5700xt looking very impressive...
