[SOLVED] RX 5700-XT

Hello,

So I've ordered the sapphire RX 5700 XT pulse but I'm kind of afraid the drivers will mess up my fun.

Price/performance wise this was the best option.
I was wondering how AMD's past regarding updates is and if the driver issues have been fixed lately, never had an AMD GPU...

AMD usually releases updates every 1-3 months.

it can work without problems but also could be messy
same in the nvidia corner

once installed the current graphics driver can work beautifully and by the next update it can produce blue screens or freezes or reboots.

Make sure to download the new 20.2.2 drivers. It has a LOT of the "Black Screen" bug fixes.

They release updates quite frequently. On average over a year, it's more than 1 per month.

As helpstar said, bugs pop up and get squashed all the time from both AMD and Nvidia.
