Hello everyone!

I am going to build my first gaming pc to play games in 1440p resolution and I was wondering if the rx 5700xt blower edition from gigabyte (costs 410 euros here) is worth it. Any duel or triple fan edition of this card costs like 70-80 dollars more here in Greece and I think thats way too much. I will also be pairing the card with a ryzen 5 2600 cpu and 16gb ram 3200mhz.

a) Should I buy the rx 5700xt for 1440p or the rx 5700 and save some money?
b) Is the rtx 2060 good for 1440p or does it struggle? I've seen reviews and some people say its good and others say that this card is only supposed to play games in 1080p resolution
c) I've also seen people saying that the vega 56 is similar or even better than an rtx 2060 for 1440p. How is that possible if the rtx 2060's clock speeds are at 1700mhz and the vega 56's are at 1200-1400mhz?

Thank you !

IF only the blower-style reference GPUs are available in your country, which you can afford, then avoid buying the RX 5700 XT. No point in buying a non-AIB model. Get the RTX 2060 SUPER GPU instead. If this is within your budget.

What's the Refresh rate of your 1440P Monitor though ?

I'll buy the samsung cjg50 which is a 1440p 144hz monitor. Is the rtx 2060 super msi ventus card a good model or is the zotac mini a better one?

I was also wondering if its a good idea to buy a 1440p monitor and just lower the resolution to 1080p in some games. Thanks for your reply!

Tbh i would look on the market for a 5700xt with a custom design that is affordable for some time, because it has got something that lets you play on a lower resolution and upscale it on the monitors default resolution which almost looks the same as the default resolution tho having the performance of the lower res. But if that is still not the case then i would look for an msi rtx 2060, they are normally pretty good.
