Hi, thanks for reading.

I can't find reviews of Radeon RX 580 4GB.

I know that the memory works in a slower speed when compared with the 8GB version.

I can buy a RX 580 OC 4GB GV-RX580GAMING-4GD, with 3 years warranty for a very good price.

I wanna know if this graphics card is enough to play the majority of games at 1080p/60fps for the next two years, in medium/high settings.

Can you please help me?

Thanks!

I have a RX 580 4gb, BF 1, BF 4, Pubg, Hitman, Fallout 4, all run 70-100+ fps with Ultra/high settings. A very good card, it did have some struggles with BF 5 beta, it probably was due to the beta optimizations. They are dirt cheap now, especially on ebay, around $150-200 usd.

Hi Vapour and everyone!

I'm from Brazil and I'm using:

CPU: Ryzen 1600X
RAM: 8GB DDR4 4000mhz@3000Mhz G. Skill
Mobo: Asus Prime X370-Pro

For the games of 2018, If I'm not wrong, this graphics card, actually, can run most games at 1080P/+-75FPS with high settings.

In the next 2 years, games will demand more from the GPUs, but I think 1080P/60fps with medium/high will be possible with the majority of games.

Thanks!

Good to know about....

If you're playing this games at 70-100+ fps with ultra high, I believe you'll play BF 5, Fallout 5 and PUBG 2 in medium/high, at 1080P/60fps, or maybe with better settings and quality...

But I'm here to read more about it.

Thanks!

Thanks, Vapour!

You're talking about 4GB version of 580, correct?

8GB version is clear enough, but it's expensive here, in Brazil.

Around $70/$80 more....

FYI, if you can't find any reviews of the RX 580 4GB, it looks like there are some reviews of the RX 480 4GB out there that could give you an idea of performance. The RX 580 is about 5-10% faster than the 480.

Edit: I've also seen a review of the RX 480 8GB vs 4GB, which you could look at to seen the effect of the difference in VRAM bandwidth.

Very good, but I think drivers improved a lot from the date when the video was recorded. I'm looking for a more recent review.

Anyway, the video is very good!

Also to boost my fps I overclocked my i5 6600k to 4.5ghz and gained 20 fps in BF 1. The RX 580 4gb is only 1 8 pin power connector cable. Not much of an overclock, 1385ghz core from 1360 ghz.
