Hey guys
I am building a new Ryzen system with the 3600 and I was buying a new GPU
I won a auction on eBay for a MSI RX 580 4GB Armor for $70
After I bought it I noticed that it had 4gb vram and not 8, is there a big performance difference between the two?
I don't play games very much but when I do its Pubg, rainbow 6, CSGO, and GTA V. I also use Photoshop also.
I just want to know if an rx 580 4gb is a good deal or not for $70, if its not the oh well.

Well, generally if you have more vram it allows for games to be ran at higher settings, giving a graphical boost. Also, sometimes the variantz with higher vram tend to have better specs, but idk.

I am using an RX580 4GB Sapphire Pulse Edition. I can play almost all AAA title's at ultra Settings by dailing down the textures to high. Except that you won't notice a thing. I play on a 1080p monitor. But if you want to go for a higher res gameplay you'll need VRAM

Variants of Nvdia Gpu's have difference between models with lower vram's and higher vram's example being gtx 1060 3gb vs 6gb. AMD cards doesn't have that difference ( Especially RX580
