Rx 580 8gb or 1060 6gb

I'm buying a new pc and i'm not sure what gpu out of these two to pick
System specs
I5 8500 cpu
Gigabyte z370 mb
8gb hyperx 2933 mhz
Ssd 120 gb kinston
1tb wd hdd
650 W bronze psu

It will depend on the games you play or want to play. Also on the screen resolution and v. refresh rate of your monitor. Check this comparison out.
You won't go wrong choosing either.

Yeah, either one looks good. However, if you plan to upgrade your monitor, then you should consider that gsync monitors cost around $200 more than freesync monitors. Also, some games perform slightly better with AMD cards and vice versa. Do a quick online search for "Rx 580 8gb vs 1060 6gb"

I bought a gigabyte 1060 6gb, i mean i wanted to buy the rx 580 8gb bc of the 8gb of vram and bc its newer and alslo bc as time passes it could turn up to be a better card bc of the driver updates, idk i bought the 1060

nah don't overthinking about such stuff. since you already got your choice just enjoy the game. there might be slight edge to RX580 especially with newly released games but all around nvidia GPU might work well with more variety of games (old and new).
