Question Rx 580 8gb

Hello community, i dont know much about computers, so i decided to ask you guys about it.

I have a r9 380x graphic card and i decides its time to upgrade it...saw this pgv sapphire nitro+radeon rx 580 8gb at great price(around 150€)...

My worries are...is it compatible with my pc? (My motherboard is a asus H81M-R)
Is it worth?

what are the things i should look out for when replacing a graphic card?

It is a good upgrade and compatible.

Power supply at first, but if you could ran a R9 380x so probably it won't be a problem. What is your processor?

it's compatible, only thing to make sure is that your psu can handle the new card. and yes it will, the 580 draws about the same power as the old 380 - maybe even less.

another thing to consider is if it will fit in the case bit they should be about the same length

My processor is an intel core i5 4690 cpu 3.50 ghz.
So it wont be a problem and i will be able to enjoy it full potential?

Hi guys, another question. What is the difference between the rx580 with 8gb and the rx580 4gb? Is it worth investing like 30-50 more euros to get the 4 extra gb?

for 1080P the 4GB is normally enough if going higher on resolution or higher than 60Hz refresh rate then 8GB card is worth the additional money.

No, the rx580 pulls about 40w more under load vs the 380x.

Thats differerent designs, different coolers etc, the GPU is still the same.
