[SOLVED] RX 580 and new motherboard processor

Hi!

I recently upgraded my motherboard and processor. My specs:

Ryzen 5 3400G (old I5 6600K @ 4.4 GHZ)
Asus B450 gaming plus
Coolermaster GX 750 psu
Adata DDR4 2 x 16 GB 2666 mhz
SSD for windows
2 x HDD for games etc.

Weird thing is, that everything worked smoothly with old system. I am beginning to wonder if my new motherboard is broken?

I am experiencing constant crashes when playing for example Cyberpunk 2077. Everything works nice, until AMD software crashes (black screen and timeout). I have tried so far:

• Updated bios
• Checked GPU temps, doesn't overheat
• Tried old and new AMD drivers for RX 580
• Used DDU and clean driver install
• Used both PCI-E slots

Hope someone can help!

What are the CPU ( processor ) temps whilst gaming ?

As below, try a format and reinstall of Windows.

Was the windows a fresh install after the new CPU and motherboard or you kept the old one?
I highly suggest to make a new clean install as it can cause problems with everything using the old installation.

After getting these problems, figured that I could use fresh install. Did that, still same problem.

CPU temps are in my opinion normal, but maybe I could check those too.

Btw, I have two displays. Could that be a problem?

Is the problem found only in Cyberpunk or also in other games? Cyberpunk is very buggy and glitchy game atm...
Btw, one of the first things to upgrade in your system, is RAM. Ryzen 3000 series love faster RAM with 3200 being very good and 3600 being ideal.

Have you tested for stability in other games? Cyberpunk is currently on an unstable state. It's not recommended to use as a reference?

Outoa on, että kaikki toimi sujuvasti vanhan järjestelmän kanssa. Olen alkanut miettiä, onko uusi emolevyni rikki?

Minulla on jatkuvasti kaatumisia pelatessani esimerkiksi Cyberpunk 2077. Kaikki toimii hyvin, kunnes AMD-ohjelmisto kaatuu (musta näyttö ja aikakatkaisu). Olen kokeillut tähän mennessä:

• Päivitetty BIOS
• Tarkistetut GPU-lämpötilat, ei ylikuumentu
• Yritti vanhoja ja uusia AMD-ohjaimia RX 580: lle
• Käytetty DDU ja puhdas ohjaimen asennus
• Käytti molempia PCI-E-paikkoja
