Is it true that ryzen 5 2400g isnt compatible with rx 580 and that you can only use integrated graphics?

Not at all. As long as you use the output in the GPU, it’ll work normally.

If you use them together , you'll let the RX580 run the graphics and the integrated CPU graphics will be disabled.
