Rx 580 bad battlefield 1 and 5 performance

I recently upgraded from a gtx 970 to a Rx 580 and I'm getting really inconsistent performance with the 580 in some games like fallout 4 and GTA v I'm getting better performance on battlefield v sometimes I get good performance on bf 1 I get terrible performance drops below 30fps

Did you completely remove the nvidia drivers and then install the AMD drivers? You might use DDU and uninstall ALL the video drivers, and re-install the latest AMD drivers

I used ddu, and today I did a fresh windows install no difference

Was the FPS more stable with the 970? Performance wise the RX 580 isn't much of an improvement over your 970. If your talking about BF1/5 multiplayer then the issue lies in your CPU, 4 cores struggles on multiplayer in those games.

My pc was running battlefield 5 at slight difference in performance but a bit more consistent on 970 and bf 1 was running very good on high with my 970
