[SOLVED] RX 580 frame drops

For the past month, whenever i played gta V, i got a constant 60 fps with the lowest being 55
Now when i just get in a vehicle and drive around, it gets as low as 17 fps
All settings are the same (all high, none ultra)

Specs:
Cpu: Intel i5 7400
Gpu: Msi rx 580
Ram: stock 12 gb

It could be a number of things. I think the first thing I would check would be to make sure something else isn't running in the background that you didn't have before. Aside from that, clean the dust out, check temps, update drivers or BIOS if needed, check your power supply.....
