[SOLVED] RX 580 sapphire nitro 8 gb help

Good day guys, i sold two RX 580 8GB Saphhire Nitro, now the buyer ask me if he can plug only one PCIE 8 pin connector to the fan, i always used them with the 8pin connector and 6 pin connector, if he uses only one 8 pin connector will that damage the graphic card? should he buy an adapter for his power supply, since he told me his power supply only has one vga 8 pin connector.What do you guys recommend? i've never had an issue since i used them with both pci connectors.

I have read that with the Sapphire Nitro RX 580, the 8-pin is required, but the 6-pin was considered optional, necessary only for overclocking.

Ok, first build so Im really confused here. Im planning to buy an RX 580 today and i narrowed the choices down to the NITRO+ or the Sapphire Pulse (im on a budget). Pricing is more or less the same but the NITRO is clocked better and has more cooling and heatpipes, so obvious choice, right? Then...

I seem to recall seeing optional for the 6-pin indicated on a NewEgg or Amazon listing at some point in the past, but I am not sure on that.

That said, I'd still be concerned about what exact power supply this customer has. If it only has the single 8-pin, it makes me worry about the PSU's quality, capacity, etc.
